Thailand Rocker, Sek Loso Arrested on Firearm Charges

Thai police issued a warrant for his surrender on Saturday after the 43 year old live streamed on Facebook praying to several Buddha statues at a temple and then shooting his firearm into the sky and then the ground.

Sek Loso, however did not surrender and police raided his home Sunday evening. He locked himself in his bedroom and proceeded to live stream his standoff with the police threatening his firearm at them. In the live stream he says, “Don’t turn a small issue into a big issue. If anyone comes in, I’ll shoot them.”

Police were commanded to break down the door and capture him, he is still under arrest at Bangkok police headquarters. He is charged for shooting a firearm in a residential area and also being further investigated for whether he had a permit for the handgun.
