Thai University Student in Critical Condition After Being Beaten During Hazing Ritual

A Thai university student was allegedly beaten by his fellow students in a hazing ritual until his spleen burst, leaving him in intensive care.

According to the student’s aunt, the students beat him for not taking good enough care of the underclassmen in his faculty. She says he was one of 20 students beaten.

The police have started investigating the case and interrogating students that were allegedly involved.

The students currently study product design at the Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep.
